We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Lead for Fire Detection Systems to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our proposal team, you will be responsible for providing technical support, estimating assistance, and mentoring to our Application Engineers and Account Executives during project design and proposal phases.
Key Responsibilities- Proposal Development: Develop and manage proposals for Fire Detection Systems projects, including creating detailed cost estimates, preparing customer proposals, and collaborating with stakeholders to manage project execution.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to Application Engineers and Account Executives, including validating assumptions, interpreting engineering drawings, and adhering to standardized design procedures.
- Mentoring and Training: Mentor and train Application Engineers and Regional Project Engineers on Fire Detection systems, ensuring quality expectations are met.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with POD Lead, Customer, Sales, Project Manager, and Subcontractor to manage project execution, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Education: Mechanical, electrical, or other technical degree.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level) and French (minimum B2 level).
- Experience: At least 2 years of work experience with Fire Detection systems.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational skills, and effective interpersonal communication.
- AutoCAD Experience: Experience with AutoCAD software.
- Engineering Background: Hands-on work experience as an Engineer.
