With a growing team and increasing complexity in our infrastructure, we are seeking a second Systems Administrator/DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Role OverviewAs a Systems Administrator/DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in managing and evolving our IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud. You will work closely with our software engineers, assisting in deploying, maintaining, and optimizing our development and production environments. You will also be instrumental in our move towards a more cloud-centric architecture, enhancing our deployment processes, and contributing to our DevOps culture.

- Our HR colleague, together with the department manager, will review your resume, and we will get back to you within 5 business days.
- Following this, you'll have the chance to meet us through an online interview, which will last 90 minutes. This interview will consist of a brief questionnaire and technical questions. Based on the outcome of the questionnaire, the interview will either proceed to the technical questions or end at that point.
- If we still feel that we are a great fit for each other, after salary negotiations, we'll just need to finalize the details of your start date.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar SysAdmin/DevOps role.
- Operating Systems: Strong experience with Linux (preferably Ubuntu). Experience with Windows.
- Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud services, particularly Google Cloud and AWS.
- CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools.
- Build Systems: Familiarity with Bazel or other build automation tools is a plus.
- Scripting/Programming: Competency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Groovy and experience with configuration management tools.
- Networking: Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall management, and VPNs.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
