About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Corinthia Budapest. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and service of food, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes, working closely with our culinary team to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with our events team to create customized menus and presentations for special occasions.
Requirements
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Professional qualification in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and guests.
