Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to research and identify prospective suppliers, maintain strong relationships with internal teams, and evaluate products and suppliers based on key business criteria. The successful candidate will ensure the secure supply of raw materials while optimizing stock levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Monitor supplier performances and resolve issues and concerns
  • Analyze industry trends, demand, and support senior management in developing sourcing strategies (reports, presentations)
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Fluent English (speaking and writing) and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome candidates with:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field
  • Experience in procurement or a related field, especially in the chemical or battery industry
  • Custom clearance work experience
  • Proficiency in other business application software and purchasing systems
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package will be provided.
