Our Global Business Services (GBS) organization is an integral part of bp, operating in Budapest and Szeged. Our teams provide solutions across various functions, including customer service, finance, accounting, procurement, HR services, and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and performance product sustain as a senior SME within our GBS team. You will work closely with stakeholders to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the GBS PPM Product Sustain Manager to resolve conflicts and implement business and technical support.
  • Provide support to further PPM's Sustain delivery by performing necessary tasks or raising matters based on provided models.
  • Implement business and technical support pursuant to instructional materials.
  • Perform tasks within Service Level Agreements and defined support models.
  • Establish and oversee prioritization of Product support activity.
  • Collaborate with PPM personnel to understand concerns or questions.
  • Assist Senior Analysts to resolve internal questions regarding PPM concerns.
  • Serve as an intermediate customer concern point between GBS PPM Sustain Team members and managers.
  • Foster process improvement opportunities and raise them with relevant personnel.
  • Serve as main contact for PPM Product Team personnel and escalate inquiries.
  • Take ownership of GBS's Product-specific performance.
  • Ensure Product works as required and receives necessary support.
  • Collaborate with PPM Product Owner to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage SAP Analytics Cloud systems administration.
  • Maintain system integrity between source systems WRE and IBP.
  • Manage forecasting processes and ensure timely driver-based data availability.
  • Support global C&P businesses with queries, issues, and questions.
  • Be a subject matter expert in finance, SAP SAC, and SAP BW.
  • Develop enhancements and improvements for the IBP platform with the global user community.
  • Gather information and insights through effective relationships with business partners.
  • Participate in the SAP SAC Super User network.
  • Root cause solve automated loads from source systems into WRE.
  • Write functional specs, perform testing, and training for enhancements.
  • Lead SAC Strategy – Positive Image and SAC projects.
  • Run reconciliation processes for customer and products business.
  • Run BAU SAC processes (Master Data, Data Control, System Set-up, SAC Testing, Recon).

Requirements:

  • General technical knowledge, including DevOps and product management concepts.
  • Experience in digital transformation projects, especially with data and process change activities.
  • Business experience in diverse, global teams, preferably in energy or technology sectors.
  • Training experience in business processes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a global multi-cultural environment.
  • Able to quickly learn and apply concepts, processes, and procedures from detailed training materials.
  • Comfortable working with various partners to understand and resolve technological and/or process matters.
  • Organized and able to manage tasks within required timelines.
  • 5+ years' experience in related areas.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance or IT-related area or equivalent experience.
  • Expert English knowledge and another European language as a plus.
  • Previous experience in SAP Analytics Cloud/SAP BW/OFA as a plus.
  • High level of analytical skills, numeracy, and financial awareness.
  • Solid experience in performance management, forecasts, plans, investigating variances, and reporting on results.
  • Attention to detail, data investigation skills, and ability to propose actions and improvements while ensuring consistency.
