Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at EcoPro Global Hungary Zrt. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and identifying prospective suppliers, liaising with internal teams, and evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify prospective suppliers
  • Liaise with internal teams and maintain strong supplier relations
  • Evaluate products and suppliers according to key business criteria
  • Secure supplies of raw materials while maintaining optimized stock levels
  • Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Monitor supplier performances and resolve issues and concerns
  • Analyze industry and demand trends, and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, along with analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Fluent English, especially in speaking and writing (intermediate level or higher)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a similar field
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role, especially in the chemical or battery industry
  • Experience in custom clearance work
  • Capability of speaking other languages, such as Korean, German, or French
