Procurement Specialist Job Description

EcoPro Global Hungary Zrt. is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for researching and identifying prospective suppliers, liaising with internal teams, and maintaining strong supplier relations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify prospective suppliers to meet our business needs
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and collaboration
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Evaluate products and suppliers based on key business criteria, including quality, price, and delivery
  • Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or concerns
  • Analyze industry trends and support senior management in the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or supply chain management
  • 3 years of relevant working experience in procurement or a related field
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Fluent English language skills, with intermediate level or higher
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role, preferably in the chemical or battery industry
  • Experience in custom clearance work
  • Capability of speaking and writing in other languages, such as Korean, German, or French
