Group Training Planning and Resources Manager
Based in Budapest

Purpose of the role
Group Training Planning and Resource Manager reports to the Group Training Operations Team Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring training resources are aligned with demand and that all approved group training activities are planned according to internal requirements;
  • Ensuring the development and maintenance of a long-term training forecast, including budgeting and training personnel demand;
  • Supporting and implementing data analytics processes in Crew Training Planning;
  • Managing and supervising simulator slot capacity, landing training aircraft slot capacity and external training facility portfolio;
  • Managing and exercising oversight on Wizz Air Group Crew Training Planning related activities, including cross AOC training events;
  • Implementing flight crew and cabin crew training planning, strategic directives related to Wizz Air Group training;
  • In conjunction with the Group Training Planner, ensuring the development, implementation and oversight of the training planning processes in accordance with the ATO and applicable regulatory requirements;
  • In conjunction with the Flight Crew Onboarding Supervisor, ensuring the timely commencement of required training for onboarding in compliance with company and regulatory requirements;
  • In conjunction with the Flight Crew Onboarding Assistant, providing support to Flight crew regarding onboarding matters;
  • In conjunction with the ATO Training Supervisor, ensuring that the development, implementation, and oversight of trainee onboarding and training administrative processes are in accordance with the ATO and applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Providing periodic reports on training planning and resources;
  • Liaising with AOC Crew Training Managers on all training planning and resources matters;
  • Liaising with Senior Manager Flight Crew Training on all training planning and resources matters;
  • Liaising with Senior Manager Cabin Crew Training on all training planning and resources matters;
  • Participating in Meetings to align on team goals in accordance with the group training meeting matrix.

Authorities of the Function:

  • Define and modify mathematical formulas used in forecasting;
  • Handle Simulator slots within the Group;
  • Define best practices in crew training planning matters.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of aviation management experience

Hard Skills

  • Experience on computer programs relevant to the responsibilities (Word, Excel, PPT etc.)
  • Specialized training as per GT OMM

Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree.

Language
Fluent English (Both written and spoken)

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with focus on Team work
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the applicable regulations and associated requirements;
  • Knowledge of presentation techniques;
  • Knowledge of feedback and coaching techniques;
  • Capable of motivating and developing others by providing support and guidance.
