Barion is a Hungarian fintech success story with a clear mission: to become Central and Eastern Europe's leading payment platform in the coming years.

With over 20,000 merchants trusting us for online payments, and after our recent acquisition of OkosKassza, we've officially entered the offline payment world as well.

We're now scaling at unicorn speed – and to keep up that pace, we're looking for a Content Strategist who can turn complex ideas into compelling stories that move people and markets alike.

Your Role

As our Content Strategist, you'll define and manage Barion's overall content strategy across all markets.

Your goal: to make sure every message we publish – from a LinkedIn post to an EDM or a product guide – helps merchants understand how Barion makes payments simple and their business grow faster.

You'll create structure, clarity, and consistency across channels, working closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to build stories that convert.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Owning all content operations (social, CRM/EDM, blog, PR, and campaign copy)
  • Translating product and business insights into merchant-focused stories
  • Managing agency relationships (PR, content production, translation partners)
  • Supporting local market content through guidelines and collaboration with local writers
  • Developing content frameworks, tone-of-voice guides, and scalable workflows
  • Partnering with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging with go-to-market strategy

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of B2B marketing or content experience, ideally in SaaS, fintech, or payments
  • Proven ability to create and manage content that speaks to SMBs, merchants, or business decision-makers
  • Strong understanding of sales enablement, content funnels, and brand voice
  • Experience coordinating external agencies and creative partners
  • Excellent written and spoken English (Hungarian is a plus)
  • Foreign study or work experience is a strong advantage
  • STEM or business background is an advantage
