Team Overview

Client Invoicing Services (CIS) is a global team of approx. 90 and is part of the BlackRock Global Client Experience (CX).

CIS provide management and performance fee invoices for institutional separately managed account clients and retail relationships located in the Americas, EMEA and APAC (excluding Japan). CIS are responsible for reviewing fee terms within client agreements, ensuring invoices and internal accruals are raised in line with these agreements and following up with clients to ensure collection of revenue. Global CIS Operations teams are currently located in Budapest, Edinburgh, Delaware, Atlanta and Gurgaon.

CIS produce around 6,000 invoices on a quarterly basis. Many invoice calculations are complex due to agreed fee terms and client structures.

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a self-starter problem solver and who is dedicated with a strong analytical background to be part of the EMEA Client Invoicing team.

• Become a subject matter expert in management fee and performance fee calculations and billing

• Participate in discussions, provide solutions, create operational control framework, and drive for operational excellence and enhanced client experience

• Proactively investigate, call out and remediate calculation/billing issues

• support projects and initiatives to improve our operating model collaborating with internal business and technology partners

• Ensure compliance with CASS and SOX regulations

Experience

• 1-3 years' experience in an operational/accounting/finance environment with a keen interest in operational excellence

• have the ability or experience to translate contractual agreements into mathematical equations

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities

• Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistic or related field preferred

• Strong analytical skills with an ability to identify problems and develop solutions

• Excellent attention to detail and understanding of operational processes
