About The Role
The Work Package Leader is responsible for managing and co-ordinating the R&D work package within PI/PE-projects. This includes cross-sites projects where strong collaboration between sites is required. He/She is responsible for maintaining documentation of the R&D activities and monitoring work package progress. The work package leader is reporting the work package progress to the Project Manager. He/She is constant member of the PI/PE project team representing the R&D department and acting as single point of contact for all R&D-related topics within the project.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain R&D Work Package Documentation
  • Hold regular R&D Work Package Meetings
  • Manage Action Item List
  • Track timelines for R&D Work Package
  • Present Progress of R&D Work Package at different levels
  • Contribute to Project Dashboard
  • Constant member of Project Team

  • Contribute to PI/PE-project

  • Support and Challenge R&D Activities

  • Manage Timelines for R&D Activities
  • Escalation of issues or delays
  • Report on Progress of R&D Work Package
  • Strong collaboration with other Project team members representing different departments
  • Ensure alignment of R&D workpackage with overall timelines

Requirements

  • University degree (Master or PhD) in life science or engineering, preferably chemistry
  • at least 2 years of work experience in R&D/production/QA in pharmaceutical or chemical industry

Professional Experience, Education, And Knowledge

  • Basic knowledge of organic chemistry
  • Understanding of GMP-principles
  • Understanding of complex projects
  • Basic knowledge of Project Management tools
  • Business acumen

Languages

  • Fluent in English, Hungarian
