About the Role

As a Biological Project Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and successful execution of strategic R&D projects within our Biological New Product Portfolio. Your role will bridge cross-functional and cross-cultural teams and external partners to ensure the timely and cost-effective development, registration, technology transfer, and market introduction of innovative products. You will also be responsible for budget planning, performance tracking, and resource coordination for your projects.

This is a critical and visible role that directly contributes to the company's innovation pipeline and commercial success. You will lead 3–5 major projects, driving collaboration between internal stakeholders (including manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, and clinical operations) and external partners such as CROs and CMOs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the development and execution of R&D project specifications and plans in alignment with company strategy.

  • Monitor deliverables, timelines, and budget performance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Lead lifecycle management initiatives for existing products.

  • Support regulatory submissions, technology transfer to manufacturing, and market launch processes.

  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and product launch working groups.

  • Participate in the preparation and tracking of the Biological R&D budget, with a focus on external collaborations.

  • Ensure resource planning and align project needs with available capabilities.

  • Contribute to the development of project management tools and best practices (using Smartsheet and other platforms).

What We Expect
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or a Master's degree (or higher) in Biology, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences.

  • Solid experience in project management within an R&D or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural teams, coordinating efforts across functions and geographies.

  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and organizational skills.

  • Ability to understand and manage complex biological development programs.

  • Strong ownership, time management, and accountability for meeting project deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry, including product development, manufacturing, or regulatory affairs.

  • Project management certification or formal training (e.g. PMP, Prince2).

  • Working knowledge of GLP, GMP, or GCP standards.

  • Previous leadership experience or experience managing external partners (CROs/CMOs).

  • Interest in innovation and driving complex scientific projects through to market.

What We Offer
  • Opportunity to contribute to high-impact, science-driven projects with global relevance.

Competitive compensation package:

  • Cafeteria benefits equivalent to a 13th-month salary
  • Performance-based bonus: 1 – 1.5 months' salary

  • Supportive team environment with strong scientific and operational leadership.

  • Access to international networks, high-end tools (e.g. Smartsheet), and collaboration with global experts.

  • Regular travel opportunities to project sites (including Germany and France), approximately 3–4 days/month.

If you are passionate about innovation, animal health, and project leadership, we invite you to apply and become part of a forward-thinking, science-driven team.
