About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic Equipment engineer  to our Auto Parts Division.

 Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the installation and commissioning of new equipment to ensure that the equipment is put into mass production in the optimal state.
  • Responsible for formulating equipment maintenance and repair plans and standards to effectively improve the service life of equipment.
  • Responsible for the acceptance of new equipment, receiving the acceptance data such as operation instructions, assembly drawings, electrical schematic diagrams, wearing parts list, interface data, etc., to ensure that the equipment can be put into normal use.
  • Participate in the feasibility analysis, investigation and scheme evaluation of equipment development and transformation requirements to ensure the effectiveness and feasibility of the project.
  • Participate in the preliminary design of equipment development and transformation scheme, output the implementation budget and technical agreement of the scheme, and ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Participate in the detailed design, output technical documents, drawings and BOM, and ensure that the design meets the requirements of the scheme.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:
  • Over 1 years related working experience, major in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Master the relevant knowledge of equipment structure, equipment management and equipment maintenance on the production site, master the working principles and use environment of mechanical transmission, electrical circuit, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and understand the relevant knowledge of electrical principles.
  • Master UG/CAD/SolidWorks/Pro-E and other design software, skilled computer operation, flexible use of excel, word, ppt and other office software.
  • Have good communication skills, stress resistance, work conscientiously and responsibly.
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian, Chinese is a plus.
