As we grow our staffing operations in the European region, we are seeking a strategic operator to join our remote team and focus on the German-speaking market.

Job Summary

As a Lifecycle & People Operations Specialist, you will manage the full employee journey for temporary workers across select European countries, particularly within the German-speaking regions.

This fully remote role is ideal for a fluent German speaker with HR or operations experience who is eager to learn and gain qualifications in jurisdictions such as Austria and Germany. Based anywhere in the EU/EEA, you will ensure compliant and efficient operations, with Infotree fully funding any required certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end EOR lifecycle for employees in EU countries, including onboarding, contract management, payroll processing, benefits administration, and offboarding, especially in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland.

• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure all EOR activities meet legal standards and EU directives.

• Stay up to date on regulations related to posted worker notifications and staff leasing laws.

• Build simple, reliable HR processes for payroll, reporting, and compliance tracking.

• Support recruiting by sourcing candidates, screening applications, interviewing, and preparing contracts.

• Provide clear insights on performance, costs, and compliance.

• Train to pass any required exams in DACH jurisdictions (fully funded).

• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for EOR engagements, ensuring GDPR data privacy compliance.

• Support cross-functional teams in resolving EOR-related issues, including visa support, work permits, and dispute resolution.

• Monitor changes in labour legislation and update internal processes and client advisories accordingly.

Requirements

• Fluent in German (native level or C1) and comfortable in English; Dutch is a plus.

• 3–5 years' experience in HR, payroll, recruitment, or operations (staffing/global teams ideal).

• Familiarity with European employment laws; cross-border compliance experience helpful.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex legal frameworks.

• Education: University degree (Business, HR, Law, or related) or vocational training + 2 years' experience.

• Based in the EU/EEA with valid work rights in DACH countries.

• Comfortable using HR tools, spreadsheets, and navigating legal documentation.

• Strong communicator, detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.

• Interest in DACH labour laws (company provides training).

• Experience with DACH/EU clients or in a remote environment.

• HR or compliance certifications are a plus.
