Group Operations Planning Junior Manager
Based in Budapest

Purpose of the role
The purpose of this role is to support Senior Management and the Leadership Team at Wizz by ensuring effective corporate governance and alignment with strategic objectives. This includes drafting and implementing governance processes, managing operations data, and fostering cross-functional relationships to optimize business performance. The role involves setting clear performance expectations, providing feedback, and ensuring the professional development of team members. Additionally, it requires monitoring compliance, tracking key performance indicators, and facilitating regular reviews to ensure continuous improvement. Coordination with other departments ensures the integration of governance and operational activities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide corporate governance support to the Senior Management and Leadership Team.
• Oversee the Governance cycle to foster an environment where due diligence is a shared responsibility and accountability, aligning with Wizz's commitments and strategy.
• Draft and implement corporate governance processes and procedures for the group.
• Supervise the compilation, production, and document management of group operations data, including analytics and reporting, metrics repository, issue management reporting, and materials for cross-functional forums.
• Manage and enhance cross-functional working relationships with other departments while building strong relationships and influencing key business partners.
• Oversee corporate performance improvement initiatives by optimizing and managing business processes to ensure outcomes align with the organization's strategic goals.
• Support implementing actions to bridge gaps in cost growth and operational performance.
• Team management support to ensure effective execution of governance and operational activities.
• Set clear objectives and performance expectations.
• Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Ensure continuous professional development of team members.
• Monitor the implementation of governance processes and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to review progress, address issues, and share updates.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure alignment and integration of governance and operational activities across the organization.

Experience
1-3+ years of overall working experience with 1+ years of professional experience in a relevant role

Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree

Language
Fluent English (both written and spoken)
