Job Title: EMEA Field Category Manager – MOD 3rd party elevator controllers & electrical components

Location: Budapest – Hungary / Travel: ~20%

Reporting to: EMEA NE & MOD Sourcing Director

About the Role

We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Field Category Manager to lead sourcing for 3rd party elevator controllers and electrical components across 42 EMEA countries. This is a new, high-impact role focused on centralizing procurement, improving supplier performance, and delivering value across modernization and new equipment projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead category strategy for controllers and electrical components across EMEA, optimizing cost, quality, delivery, and compliance.

• Develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement performance KPIs.

• Drive sourcing transformation from local to centralized procurement, leveraging scale and standardization.

• Support project sourcing from RFQ to supplier selection, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.

• Build supplier networks, conduct visits, and maintain a live market overview to support early decision-making.

• Implement digital tools and catalogs to streamline sourcing and enable field teams.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with factories, engineering, operations, and sales to ensure successful project execution.

What We're Looking For

• University degree with 3-7 years of relevant experience.

• Strong experience in elevator controllers/electrical components sourcing.

• Experience driving organizational change and working in a matrixed, international environment.

• Proven ability to lead category management and supplier negotiations.

• Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills.

• Fluent in English and Hungarian; additional languages are a plus.
