About the department:
BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars, trucks, buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric vehicles series, which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer, you will do research, analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products, user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration, working closely together with product, design and engineering teams.
Your main responsibility is:
- Research the development trend of local passenger cars and LCV market in Europe;
- Be responsible for mining and researching of local user demands and usage habits;
- Be responsible for the analysis of local competitive products and competition pattern;
- To cooperate and match with the development requirements of domestic overseas models, and organize local market research;
- Be responsible for the analysis and investigation of the application and development trend of local vehicle configuration.
Your personal information:
- Bachelor degree or above.
- At least 3 years working experience in market research or related experience in passenger car OEMs is preferred.
- Be sensitive to market and data, be familiar with passenger car research contents, methods and process.
- Fluent in English. Able to speak Chinese and Dutch will be a plus.
- Good coordination and communication skills, excellent teamwork and strong sense of responsibility.
