Product Engineer

YOVO is building the next generation of payment infrastructure for digital entrepreneurs across Europe. We believe creators, educators, and modern online businesses deserve world-class tools that match the speed at which they operate. Traditional payment platforms weren't designed for this new ecosystem, so we've decided to create something entirely new.

Founded in 2025, YOVO is developing a modern, modular checkout, subscription engine and wordclass product hosting, that makes selling digital products and services effortless. Our mission is to empower creators and digital businesses with the financial and operational infrastructure they need to scale, from frictionless payments to automated workflows and powerful analytics.

We operate remote-first, with the option to work on-site in our Office in Budapest, one of Europe's fastest-growing hubs for tech talent. YOVO is backed by experienced founders, operators, and international angel investors supporting us on our path to reshape the European payments landscape.

We're looking for a Web-Focused Engineer who will own the entire user-facing web experience at YOVO. This includes everything from our marketing website, landing pages, documentation, and onboarding flows to parts of our dashboard and self-serve product funnels. You will work closely with design, product, and engineering to translate ideas into polished, high-performance, production-ready interfaces that define how thousands of creators and digital businesses experience YOVO.

This role is ideal for someone who lives at the intersection of frontend engineering and product design — someone who obsesses over performance, animations, clarity, conversion, and visual quality, and who can take projects from concept to launch with little guidance.

• Strong experience in modern frontend development (React, , Remix, Vue, etc.)
• Deep understanding of UI/UX, design systems, and high-quality interactions
• Ability to turn early concepts into polished, production-ready experiences
• Strong aesthetic sense — you care about spacing, typography, layout, and brand expression
• Experience with marketing funnels, web performance, or conversion optimization
• Comfortable working across design, product, and engineering boundaries
• Bonus:

– Experience with Framer, Vercel, or static-site optimization

– Experience implementing marketing experiments (A/B tests, personalization)

– Understanding of SEO best practices

– Familiarity with analytics tools and event tracking

• Own the development of all public-facing web properties (marketing site, landing pages, docs, onboarding, self-serve flows)
• Build fast, responsive, pixel-perfect interfaces that communicate YOVO's brand and value clearly
• Translate Figma designs and product requirements into high-quality frontends using modern web frameworks
• Implement animations, transitions, micro-interactions, and UI polish that elevate the user experience
• Optimize web performance, Lighthouse scores, SEO, and accessibility
• Build internal tooling and reusable components that speed up future development
• Collaborate with product and design to experiment with messaging, conversion, funnel performance, and user journey optimization
• Manage integrations such as analytics, tracking, forms, authentication, and API-driven UI components
• Work closely with the founding team to influence aesthetic direction and overall product quality
• Contribute to a high-ownership engineering culture where execution, speed, and craftsmanship matter

Compensation Range: $130K - $175K
