About The Role
As an HR Generalist you will make an impact by managing a wide range of human resources functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting employees and managers across the organization, as well as planning, executing, and delivering HR-related projects that drive organizational effectiveness. You will be a valued member of the HR team and work collaboratively with team members, project teams and stakeholders.

In This Role, You Will

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Create, review and maintain labour documents.
  • Ensure HRIS data accuracy for employee data, payroll and benefits processing. Create, analyze and distribute reports as needed for various stakeholders.
  • Training and development: Coordinate learning programs and professional development opportunities.
  • Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and implement best practices.
  • Support in defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables for HR initiatives.
  • Partner with HR leaders, business managers, and external vendors to ensure project success

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Budapest. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered

  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives simultaneously.
