About the position
Modern Trade KAM is to develop and deliver a win-win customer strategy and Customer Business Plan.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Manage and strengthen customer collaboration by developing a deep understanding of the customer, building strong networks, and effectively negotiating to secure agreements.
As a Modern Trade Key Account Manager, you take full ownership of results and are accountable for achieving sales and profitability targets, including but not limited to:
Developing and executing account plans aligned with company objectives and customer needs. Driving category growth through strategic initiatives and joint business planning. Managing pricing, promotions, and trade terms to optimize profitability. Forecasting and demand planning to ensure product availability and minimize out-of-stocks. Analyzing performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement. Building long-term partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth.So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
We are looking for a candidate with 3–5 years of experience in Key Account Management or corporate sales within the FMCG sector, preferably with exposure to Modern Trade. The ideal applicant will demonstrate proven business and sales success, along with exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. A strong strategic vision, combined with analytical thinking, a results-driven mindset, and a customer-centric approach, is essential. We value team orientation, the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment, and a proactive attitude. Candidates should exhibit a high sense of ownership, accountability and responsibility, hold a university degree, and be fluent in English. A valid driving license are required.
