Are you a supply chain professional who thrives on optimizing complex manufacturing processes? Join our team in Budapest and take ownership of critical external manufacturing relationships that power our global operations.
Role ImpactAs our Senior External Manufacturing Scheduler, you'll be the vital link between Celanese and our external manufacturing partners (tollers), ensuring seamless production flow and optimal inventory management. Your strategic planning and analytical skills will directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You will do
- Develop and implement strategic supply plans that align with business objectives
- Provide accurate long-range production forecasts to manufacturing partners
- Optimize capacity utilization across external manufacturing networks
- Manage material flow and inventory levels between Celanese and tollers
- Execute SAP transactions to ensure timely product movement
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supply challenges and meet customer demands
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes and tools
What You will bring
- 5-7 years in supply chain, logistics, or material planning with 3+ years in planning roles
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or related field
- Strong SAP experience and advanced Excel skills
- Analytical mindset with proven problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent prioritization and decision-making abilities
- Fluent in both German and English
- Collaborative team player with resilience and ownership mentality
