At Loxon, we're looking for a motivated Business Intelligence Consultant with strong banking or financial domain knowledge to join our Romanian subsidiary in Bucharest.

In this role, you'll contribute to international banking and risk management projects, collaborate with major banks worldwide, and play a key role in translating financial and risk concepts into BI solutions.

If you're familiar with how banks manage profitability, liquidity, or risk, and you're eager to combine this knowledge with data-driven insights — this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Gather and translate business requirements from Finance or Risk teams into BI solutions.
  • Identify KPIs and performance metrics relevant to banking operations.
  • Evaluate existing reports and profitability/risk models to support business decision-making.
  • Configure OFSAA modules and design OAS reports in alignment with client needs.
  • Perform functional testing, validation, and user acceptance.
  • Prepare documentation and deliver user training to business teams.
  • Support post-implementation activities and contribute to continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in the banking or financial sector (Finance, Risk, Treasury, ALM, or Controlling functions is a must).
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience in reporting, data analysis, or BI consulting roles.
  • Understanding of banking processes and data — ability to interpret and model financial and risk metrics.
  • Exposure to one or more banking IT systems (e.g., OFSAA, ALM, FTP) is a strong plus.
  • Good command of Oracle SQL / PL-SQL for data validation, testing, and reporting purposes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with high attention to detail in data validation and report accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills — ability to liaise between business and technical teams.
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or Banking (or currently pursuing a Master's).
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Please note: experience in a banking or financial environment is considered a mandatory requirement for this position.
