Job Description 

The NI Education Services Team has an immediate opening for Education Services Certifications Operations Specialist. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of NI Education Services Certification to NI's customers. The Education Services Operations Specialist will work with a diverse set of people and resources to ensure NI customers receive a seamless certification booking and exam experience. This role will be measured on delivery execution targets, customer satisfaction, ensuring streamlined processes and improving the customer exam experience to support the growth of the Education Services business.  

The Education Services Certifications Operations Specialist collaborates closely with internal teams including, EDS Specialists and Account Managers, Technical Examiners and third-party vendor companies throughout the Americas, Asia, and Europe. 

To be a successful Education Services Certifications Operations Specialist role you should demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership, collaborative, and effective communication skills. This role also requires a focus on customer service and the ability to analyze and solve problems in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, a successful Education Services Certifications Operations Specialist has a strong alignment to the culture, values, and mission of NI, the NI Services function, and the Education Services team. 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Assumes responsibility for executing the certification delivery strategy and ensures alignment with the Education Services and Post Sale Services Strategy. 
  • Works closely with the Global Training Delivery Manager, as well as collaborates across the Education Services team to achieve shared goals and objectives. 
  • End-to-end certification process mapping, globally aligning exam booking and execution processes and policy.  
  • Manages Certifications Delivery QA to ensure that customer satisfaction is tracked, reported, and actioned accordingly. 
  • Ensures certifications experience is engaging, efficient and effective. 
  • Responsible for in-person and online certification delivery.  
  • Ensures a continuous improvement cycle for the certification delivery experience. 
  • Creating an ongoing strategy for anticipating, meeting, and reporting certification delivery activities. 
  • Identify and implement certification program improvement areas and share/encourage best practices.  
  • Participates in certification-related projects aimed at enhancing customer experience, working closely with leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment, efficiency, and successful exam delivery. 
  • Certification program reporting and maintaining accurate records. 
  • Other ad hoc duties and responsibilities may be assigned as business needs change.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Information Systems; or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service, business analysis and/or project management 
  • Strong English skills necessary (ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing in various circumstances, including customer-facing meetings) 
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration 
  • Understanding of business concepts such as pricing, costs, terms and conditions, utilization, ROI, etc. 
  • Willing and able to travel up to 10%
