Your role:  

 As a Junior Sales Engineer, you will work closely with the Country Sales Manager in-order to help to position Edwards as the core supplier of vacuum products and services through the effective management of new and existing accounts in the Research and Development (R&D), Scientific and Industrial sectors in Hungary and/or Slovakia.

What your day to day will look like:  

• Identifying potential customers, conduct cold calls and arrange site meetings  
• Track and report activities and results in our sales CRM system  
• Assess customer needs, recommending products & offering quotations and support  
• Respond quickly and competently to customer enquiries throughout the territory 
• Use all available resources to generate customer databases in target markets  
• Deliver customer presentations face to face and through online channels 
• Develop close working relationships with distributors and key accounts in the region to improve response to enquiries and drive customer satisfaction 
• Act as a bridge between external sales and sales operations, to update & expedite customer orders & deliveries 

What you will have: 

• Ideally a degree in a Technical Discipline such as Engineering / Science (Physics, Chemistry)
• Fluent verbal & written language skills in English and Hungarian is essential. Knowledge of Slovak is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to influence and engage others
• A love of meeting new people and a passion for regular travel
• Commercial awareness and business understanding 
• Some previous sales or business development experience is beneficial but not essential.
