The consultant is to provide Quality Assurance (QA) expertise specializing in testing duties for ongoing development under the CBO and OASIS platforms. This consultancy provides QA support covering ServiceNow applications, including OASIS service catalogue updates, CBO Phase 2 services, and EZOffice.

How can you make a difference?
The QA Consultant will perform structured testing, quality oversight, documentation, and validation of new and enhanced ServiceNow functionalities to ensure readiness for deployment, including support for the CBO pilot offices and scalability for future multi-agency use.

*The Primary Objectives Include:*
This 3-month assignment focuses on validating the large volume of new services and enhancements planned across CBO/OASIS catalogues, including HR, Workplace Management, SLAs, Portal enhancements, Reporting, and multi-agency workspace configuration, ensuring each feature meets UNICEF quality standards prior to release.

The Consultant Will Perform QA Activities Across The Nine Major Functional Deliverables Described Under CBO Phase 2 And OASIS Enhancements. Testing Will Cover:

  • Introduction of new CBO services
  • Validation of assumptions: field limits, workflow logic, notifications, ACL exclusions
  • Testing expansion of CBO subscription logic and service list
  • Validation of new agency-level subscription options
  • Testing SLA triggers, schedules, conditions, and workflow attachment
  • Validation of usage tracking and administrative controls
  • Validation of enhanced search, AI-assisted features, and dashboard access
  • Testing updated field logic, simplified workflows, notifications, and service boundaries
  • Testing short-term space reservation services for up to 10 offices
  • Validation of map conversions, hot-desking features, and parking reservations
  • Ensuring alignment with ITSM/HRSD configurations

Minimum Requirements:**

  • Education: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Software Engineering
  • Work Experience: Minimum 5 years in QA with strong manual and automated testing experience of applications adapted/ developed in UNICEF domain.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with test automation tools (for example UFT and/or Selenium, Cucumber, Maven etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience with testing of ServiceNow services adapted to UNICEF business processes.
  • 2+ years of experience with the Azure DevOps platform in UNICEF context.
  • Experience with web applications, UNIX commands, SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control, Java/Python is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of SAP is desired.
  • Ability to handle parallel testing streams

Language Requirements:
Fluency in both written and spoken English is required. Additional UN languages will be considered an asset
