Job Description

The role of the Animal Health European Export Market (EEM) Demand & Supply Lead is to provide leadership to the EEM Demand and Supply Team. Together with this team, s/he is responsible for overseeing logistics and distribution activities within the organization and encompasses the Baltics, West Balkan, Bulgaria, and Ukraine.

Person together with the team, will be coordinating communication between production, sales, and distribution departments to ensure an efficient and effective supply chain. The role involves managing integrated processes across internal functions such as operations, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and customer service. One of the key responsibilities of the EEM Demand & Supply Lead and the team is to respond to customer inquiries and direct clients to the appropriate channels for assistance. This involves understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization to ensure alignment and customer satisfaction. In addition, the EEM Demand & Supply Lead and the team plays a vital role in shipping, receiving, stock management, and customer service.

The EEM Demand & Supply Lead is part of the Animal Health (AH) EEM core team and reports directly to the Managing Director AH EEM.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Coach, develop and manage the team according to our talent development strategy.
  • Monitor and compare sales forecasts, purchase orders, purchase requisitions, planned shipments, and stock levels in SAP for biopharma, technology, and medical device portfolio, ensuring proper stock movement and placing orders to maintain sufficient stock levels for manually ordered products while verifying shipping documents from production sites.
  • Ensure effective communication with the warehouses for customer shipments and issue and forward delivery notes.
  • Provide information to different stakeholders, handle complaints, process customer orders, track order and invoicing, verify payments and credit limits, manage promotions, tenders, commercial agreements with wholesalers, discounts, rebates, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare contracts for signature and maintain the contract database online system.
  • Support internal stakeholders during budget and demand planning cycles.
  • Take responsibility to run and update internal systems to support the business processes.
  • Ability to take over project lead role, when required.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must have min 5 years’ previous experience in relevant role at a multinational company,
  • Candidates with people management experience will be preferred.
  • S/he has a qualification at ‘higher education’ level.
  • Good command of English is necessary.
  • Computer literate with advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel is required.
  • Strong SAP knowledge is a must have.
  • Strong analytical and priority management skills, the ability and willingness to keep learning.
  • S/he is a team player, who can work autonomously.
