Maintenance Logistics Specialist 

Based in BUD - Office 

 

 

Purpose of the position:

 

You will be fully responsible for managing all daily issues regarding the shuttle network (coordination with warehouses carriers, and customs agents, sometimes even with drivers).

Responsibilities:

 

  • Most of the time you are controlling the allocation of spare parts between Wizz Air basis using our regular shuttle network,
  • To manage it you need to cooperate closely with the Maintenance Planning and Procurement teams to have the right parts on the right place and at the right time,
  • You should maintain safety stock levels at 30+ Wizz Air Maintenance stations in Europe and Mid East,
  • You will be fully responsible for managing all daily issues regarding the shuttle network (coordination with warehouses carriers, and customs agents, sometimes even with drivers),
  • You need to register all shipments in the Wizz Air’s ERP and other systems and maintain the master data in related databases.

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree,
  • Fluent English is a must (Hungarian or Italian or Polish or Romanian languages are advantage),
  • At least 1 years’ experience at logistic provider and deep understanding of general logistic practices and process (different transportation modes, warehousing, and customs procedures),
  • Ability to work in shifts,
  • Good and effective written and verbal communicator to team members, customer/s, forwarders, and all others involved into shipping process (warehouses/vendors, etc),
  • Quick in learning, able to work independently and in a team environment too, solution and deadline oriented,
  • Working under pressure, share focus without losing priorities,
  • Recognize the risk of a late cargo, incorrect paperwork, and difference between part category (non-hazardous – hazardous),
  • Precise in administration, professional use of IT tools (MS Office, any ERP system).
