Senior Analytics Product Owner

Purpose of the position:

The Senior Analytics Product Owner will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the analytics tools in Group retail Sales & Operations with a direct responsibility to deliver monetary benefit as result of leading the implementation and managing the activation of the advanced analytics tools across all major markets. The Senior Analytics Product Owner possess acts as the bridge between the retail teams and management and the development team, ensuring that our analytics tools meet the evolving needs of the business, stay ahead of industry trends and ultimately deliver competitive edge in the marketplace.

Main responsibilities:

  • Envision the advanced analytics products development roadmap for Group Retail.
  • Engage with the senior retail leadership to align and secure the necessary resources to deliver the roadmap.
  • Translate the roadmap into specific product delivery plans and continuously refine based on the company's strategic goals, emerging business needs and gaps, senior management and user feedbacks, market and technology trends.
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the cross-functional agile product teams (IT and data development squads) developing the analytics tools for retail.
  • Manage the productive delivery of the analytics products and feature developments.
  • Build a deep understanding of the needs of the business partners, ensure business user and management feedback loop.
  • Lead the definition or the redesign of the business processes as needed for the successful implementation of the analytics tools.
  • Implement quality assurance.
  • Lead the product releases, including feature launches, bug fixes, and updates.
  • Lead business user enablement via training, shadowing, and coaching and establish a continuous feedback loop with the business users and stakeholders.
  • Ensure up-to-date product documentation to support customer adoption and satisfaction.

What is required to fill the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree or MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience preferably in top tier business consulting or in a multinational environment.
  • Experience in managing teams.
  • Professional competencies in business consulting, software product ownership or management, change management, high level understanding of big data field, data analytics and AI solutions.
  • Project management/organisational skills and stakeholder management skills, experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Professional use of MS Office and MS Project (or similar project management tool). Experience with working with task management tool (e.g., Jira or similar tool) and MS Power BI (or similar data visualization tool).
  • Fluency in English and one of the Central Eastern European languages.
  • Driver’s license.
