Passenger Information Specialist 

Based in BUD - Office 

 

 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing passenger information projects liaising with authorities and our IT provider. Perform testing to comply with countries’ requirements and solve issues related with data transmission. With your daily tasks and expertise, you will be key to our compliance, supporting the security of the countries’ borders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

 

The Passenger Information Specialist is responsible for: 

  • Managing APIS (Advance Passenger Information), PNRGOV (Passenger Name Record) data transmission to authorities and make sure compliance with specific requirements are met, represent Wizz Air as business contact for external stakeholders in daily communication. 
  • Liaising with central authorities, cooperating with Border Forces to follow up on missing or incorrect data transmission and assist with issue resolution both internally and externally. 
  • Supporting cross-functional projects, developments and processes related to API/PNR matters but not restricted to those from planning to the successful realization of the project • Participating in end-user testing of Wizz Air systems, creating documentation for User Acceptance Test, tracking defects and assisting with corrections. 
  • Maintaining local relationships at airports, including but not limited to airport authorities and ground handling 
  • Participating in other projects and initiatives. 

 

 

REQUIREMENTS 

 

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent  
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience
  • Computer proficiency
  • Interest in aviation industry and related systems
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Work well under pressure and can-do attitude
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Relevant work experience is an advantage
