We are on the lookout for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Employee Benefits team as a Client Relationship Manager in our Budapest office. We will count on you to:

  • Manage and build client relationships to support retention & growth
  • Discuss and asses clients' current and future employee benefits (both insured and non-insured) needs
  • Negotiate policy terms and costs with insurance providers
  • Arrange insurance cover for clients with the insurance provider
  • Advise clients on market trends
  • Renew or amend existing policies for clients
  • Generate revenue from existing clients and leading prospecting efforts with new clients
  • Accurate and timely completion and maintenance of MMB's systems
  • Develop and maintain appropriate technical and market knowledge
  • Manage projects aligned with client requirements, utilizing services such as benchmarking, workforce profiling, engagement, benefit alignment, DEI lens reviews, sustainability, market research, provider reviews etc.
  • Provide support to clients with day-to-day queries around Mercer products and services

What you need to have:

  • Min. 3 year of desirable experience in working in an insurance or broker company
  • University degree, preferably in economics or finance
  • Deep insight and desirably knowledge of the medical industry
  • Ability to maintain relationships with business partners and employees at all levels
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general computer literacy
  • 3+ years of experience in the field of comp & ben, reward, HR, pension and/or employee benefits field.
  • Native Hungarian speaker and fluent in written and spoken English (C1 minimum).
  • Eagerness to grow personally and professionally, embracing new challenges and opportunities for development.
  • Desire to provide exceptional client service, going above and beyond to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
