Sales Planning Lead
Your role in a nutshell:
This role is split into 2 key focus areas below:
Sales Ops Business Partner: You will develop close working relationships with our customers, in sales functions, support them through owning and leading the annual sales planning process, the maintenance and governance of MNC customer account list and Target setting. Support them with data driven decision-making. Your analytical, proactive nature enables swift identification of problems and challenges, and your customer focus and innovative thinking drives you to act quickly to implement appropriate solutions – for example process improvement, toolset development, data correction and stakeholder training and guidance.
Sales Ops Transformation: Your role also supports transformational change across Commercial Operations, Sales Operations and the Sales team. This role is responsible for delivering digital tools (Target /Quota management tools) to drive operational efficiency in the processes we manage and the Sales team use. You will need to work with senior stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into improved processes which drive speed and simplicity. You will promote, demo, train people on new tools. Supporting the VOIS strategy. To successfully deliver outcomes, you will be required to engage with the teams across VB and OpCo’s dependant on the nature of the data outputs to deliver business and sales analysis aligned to VOIS Commercial Operations business goals and strategy.
- People Management: Day to day management of Sales Planning team members and occasional DoA for Manager.
- Product ownership: Own MNC account and target governance through system alignment and development of automated self-serve tools
- Project Management: Project manage and lead the annual Target Setting program, co-ordinating the global could be to bring additional business benefits.
- Deliver analytical data, insights and reporting to support key initiatives, i.e business impacting events and strategy
- Strong and trusted relationships with all key stakeholders – measured by regular contact meetings/calls etc.
- Ability to handle competing priorities, views and escalations and turn them into high quality outcomes, adhering to strict deadlines and SLAs.
- Sales Users and Sales Management are kept informed and are working in line with standard and group processes.
- Successful and timely delivery of projects which deliver the agreed outcomes.
- Experience of working within global and matrix managed teams
- Experience in an operational or customer support/experience environment
- Proven stakeholder management / influencing skills
- 3 years+ experience working in a sales Operation’s environment
- Project management, People management experiences
- Knowledge of process automation solutions / AI / System Integration highly desirable
- Experience of Sales Planning & Target management
- Understanding of Sales Compensation
