Job Description
Eurofins is an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier, and more sustainable. , Provide support for Eurofins (internal) pharmaceutical laboratories regarding the following areas:
  • Open Lab, Empower, Chromeleon, Mass Hunter, Lab Solution, Softmax Pro, Lab X, OMNIS, Cary UV, Sievers Data Pro or similar software systems.
  • P1 to P4 incident handling until a successful solution, if needed involve other IT teams as well as the local or international vendor to deliver a solution.
  • Establish a good relationship with vendors and be a dedicated point of technical consultancy.
  • Periodically educate the end user (internal colleagues) how to use the new software functions and teach them best practice. Provide technical consultation, training and guidance to the new and existing lab staff.
  • Research and test software updates / upgrades prior to installation to ensure compatibility with existing ones.
  • Perform testing and patching of Windows updates on Servers and Test PCs and other regular maintenance activities on the applications occasionally on weekends to ensure the application is running at its optimal best. Support laboratory instruments.
  • Develop documentation for the IT support staff in relation to the installation of the application and its components, its diagnoses and put together a knowledge base of common issues and their fixes along with FAQs. 
  • Actively participate and execute the required Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery tests.
  • Ability to execute IQ, OQ and PQ (installation/operational/performance qualification) protocol onsite or remotely is a necessity.
  • Perform quarterly audit compliance tasks of the system along with reviews of the applications logs, audit trails and others for the assigned applications to meet GMP requirements to ensure the general maintenance of the system.
  • Upon request, provide other departments with key application usage statistics so internal billing to the labs can be done accordingly.
  • Provide application related reports (up time, performance, etc.) to Management as and when required and ensure SLAs are being met.

  • Confident written and spoken English is essential for you to excel in this position (C1 experience level). Another European language knowledge could be a huge bonus such as Italian, Spanish, German, France.
  • University degree is expected. Computer Science related one preferred, but many others could be also acceptable.
  • Personal skills, existing experience and educational background have to deliver a complex admirable outcome.

  • Ability and motivation to do incident related work as well as business as usual tasks.
  • Willing to travel in Europe.
