About the Role

Reporting directly to the Middle Office Team Lead, this position involves:

  • Optimizing pricing for various client groups
  • Enhancing the scalability of our backend solution by defining custom parameters
  • Maintaining close relationships with counterparty networks and managing liquidity
  • Proactively addressing day-to-day issues and queries from internal and external stakeholders
  • Setting up and maintaining custom client and counterparty account configurations
  • Ensuring accurate interest rates and charges across client and counterparty accounts
Key Responsibilities

This role entails:

  • Collaborating with the counterparty network to manage margin requirements and make adjustments as necessary
  • Monitoring and communicating largest exposures and potential risk management strategies
  • Evaluating and setting up commission requests and special account settings to accommodate sales growth requirements
  • Providing assistance with daily tasks to ensure business continuity and improving processes
  • Driving system improvements to meet evolving internal and external business needs
  • Overseeing derivative positions with counterparts, ensuring correct offset reporting, and investigating problem situations
  • Maintaining relevant documentation and knowledge base within the organization
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A solid understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives, bonds, equities, and FX
  • Previous experience in trading or liquidity management
  • The ability to think critically and approach challenges with a visionary mindset
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness, along with multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in handling large datasets and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • Fluent English communication skills
