Job OverviewThis role reports directly to the Corporate Actions Team Lead and is based in Hungary with the possibility of remote work.
The ideal candidate will support client security transfer requests throughout the settlement cycle, collaborate with the Sales department on securities-related queries, and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Execute client security transfer requests, ensuring seamless settlement cycles.
- Provide expert support to the Sales team on various securities-related topics.
- Participate in projects enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the settlement process.
- Collaborate closely with counterparties and other departments (Reconciliation, Middle Office) to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze and resolve incidents promptly.
- Implement daily process improvements to optimize workflow.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribute to system upgrades and projects related to settlement processes.
- Ensure all settlement activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rules and regulations regarding securities settlement.
- Promptly investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
- Bachelor's degree in business or finance.
- Fluent English language skills (additional languages considered an asset).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Solid knowledge of standard office systems, especially Excel and Google Workspace (GSuite).
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems, processes, and regulatory changes.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Knowledge of financial instruments and different types of securities.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg terminal (or other trading platforms).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Basic understanding of SWIFTNet (SWIFT) protocols.
