Reporting Line: Middle Office Team Lead

Location: Hungary

Work Arrangement: Remote

Job Purpose

The ideal candidate will optimize instrument pricing across client groups, improve the scalability of our back-end solution by defining custom parameters, maintain close relationships with counterparties, manage liquidity across networks, and handle day-to-day queries.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor margin requirements with counterparties, adjust as necessary, and collaborate with the treasury department
  • Identify and communicate potential risk management paths for large exposures
  • Evaluate and implement commission requests and special account settings for clients
  • Assist with various tasks to ensure business continuity and process improvements
  • Request system enhancements to accommodate changing internal/external requirements
  • Monitor derivative positions, ensure correct offset reporting, and investigate issues
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation and knowledge base within the organization
Requirements
  • In-depth understanding of financial instruments, including derivatives, bonds, equities, and FX
  • Previous experience in trading/liquidity management or a related field
  • Ability to think critically and strategically about back-end scalability
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness, with excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency in computer systems, data handling, and numerical analysis
  • Fluent English communication and writing skills
