About the Role
As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for Norwegian-speaking users needing technical support. You will handle incoming requests, diagnose issues, and ensure that users receive fast and effective solutions. This role provides hands-on experience with a wide range of tools, systems, and technologies, making it an excellent path for those looking to build or advance a career in IT.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support to Norwegian-speaking users via phone, email, and chat.
- Troubleshoot technical problems related to software, hardware, networks, and access permissions.
- Log incidents and service requests, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Escalate complex cases to higher-level support teams when required.
- Assist with onboarding new users by setting up accounts and configuring workstations.
- Contribute to the knowledge base by identifying recurring issues and proposing improvements.
Requirements
- Native-level or fluent Norwegian, with solid communication skills in English.
- Previous experience in IT support or customer-facing technical roles is an advantage, but motivated fast-learners will also be considered.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to guide users through solutions in a clear and calm manner.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
