About the Role

Randstad is rolling out Workday as the new global ERP platform in phases across multiple countries. This initiative aims to standardize and streamline HR, Finance, and Procurement processes. To power this transformation and ensure a seamless transition, a new Central Source-to-Pay (S2P) Support Team is being established in Budapest. You will join this high-impact group as the Inbound Invoice Data Entry Specialist (OCR). In this role, you will be the key to digitalizing our invoice process. You will be responsible for the centralized intake of PDF invoices, managing their efficient conversion into electronic invoices directly within Workday for local markets. You'll master our OCR invoice tool, a sophisticated software that leverages Optical Character Recognition technology. This tool automatically reads, extracts, and converts data from scanned or digital invoices into structured, digital information—making invoice processing significantly faster and avoiding the need for manual data entry.

Responsibilities

• Accelerating financial processes:
  You will significantly speed up invoice processing by expertly managing and performing scanning activities using the OCR tool.
• Ensuring accuracy and value:
  By automating the handling of invoices, you will reduce manual errors, providing substantial value to Randstad and local markets.
• Supporting global objectives:
  Your efforts will directly lead to faster payments and better financial control, which supports our key goals of global efficiency and compliance across the organization.
• Inbound invoice digitalization:
  Process of scanning incoming PDF invoices from local markets and suppliers through OCR tool.
• Reconciliation:
  Upfront effort to allocate invoices (i.e., suppliers, purchase orders) before integration to Workday as digital invoices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in invoice processing, accounts payable, or finance.
• Experience with OCR or automation tools is a plus.
• Basic understanding of invoice and purchase order workflows.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Basic knowledge of Workday, ERP systems, or finance software.
• Good verbal and written communication in Spanish or other multilingual support is a plus.
