Spanish-speaking Accounts Payable Specialist

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage and continuously improve accounting processes within the Shared Competence Center in Budapest.
  • Handle document receipt and invoice processing.
  • Process outgoing payments, reclaims, and corrections.
  • Perform Accounts Payable closing and periodic tasks.
  • Drive and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to internal and external partners.
  • Support senior colleagues and team leads in achieving objectives and targets.

Required skills:

  • Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent).
  • 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in a Shared Service Center.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes and SAP FI (or other ERP systems).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Hungarian is a plus.
  • Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and proactive team player.
  • Demonstrated a continuous improvement mindset and strong communication skills.
