We are looking for a
Banking Optimization Business Analyst
to join our Treasury Operation team and play a key role in transforming our global banking structure.

About the Role

As a Banking Optimization Business Analyst, you will analyze our existing bank account structure, related general ledger accounts, and associated costs. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business — from Group Treasury Liquidity to IT and Digital Strategy teams — to deliver insights and recommendations that support strategic decisions in an increasingly digital and competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a complete database of active bank accounts and related GL accounts in SAP ERP.
  • Analyze account usage (daily balances, monthly averages, turnover rates).
  • Consolidate and assess bank charges, fees, and interest from SAP ERPs.
  • Prepare decision-making materials and recommendations for the optimal future bank account portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, IT, and project teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business goals.
  • Support process improvements and system enhancements in banking data analysis.
  • Document data capture processes at an operational procedure level.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience
    in a
    financial planning or analysing (FP&A)
    , ideally from a
    multinational environment
    .
  • Strong SAP ERP knowledge
    (tables, data extraction) and proven ability to work with multiple ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and
    data mining
    skills, with ability to interpret large and complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in
    Excel
    and data visualization tools (
    Power BI, Tableau
    ).
  • Understanding of banking processes, cash management, and GL structures.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, including to senior management.
  • Problem-solving mindset, curiosity, and resilience in the face of business pushback.
  • English C1
    (daily working language), Hungarian is a plus.
