What you`ll do:

Summary:

We are looking for a developer who has experience or willingness to build up knowledge in one of the following topics: Java, SAPUI5, Angular, JavaScript. As SAP Customer Checkout, SAP's Point of Sales solution, is moved into the Public Cloud with Kyma/Kubernetes, it will also be required to build up knowledge in this area. You will become a part of the SAP Customer Checkout family, that builds point of sales software for customers in the Sports & Entertainment, Retail and Catering business in 50+ countries. Graduates are welcome

The Role:

As a developer in the SAP Customer Checkout team, you are focusing on design, coding, testing, and quality assurance of specific product features. You will work closely with UX designers and application developers. Additionally, you will collaborate with strategic global customers. Candidates should have a keen interest in retail, loyalty, electronic payment, and related topics to excel in this role.

What you bring:

Your tasks will include developing with the following technologies and programming languages:

• Java
• Spring
• Angular (Optional)
• SAPUI5 (Optional)
• JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Test automation
• Algorithms, Patterns, OO

Required skills:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Skills in Java
• Agile Mindset and knowledge of scrum methodology
• Fluent in English

Preferred skills:

• Good understanding of business processes
• Knowledge of common Design Patterns
• SQL
• Kubernetes
• Maven, Hudson/Jenkins, Selenium
• IntelliJ, Eclipse, GIT, Junit
