Role Profile

Within Global Occupier Services (GOS), the Global Technology Services (GTS) team delivers innovative technology solutions through a collaborative environment of consultants, developers, project managers, and analysts. Our mission is to build and support client-focused technology platforms that are scalable, secure, and impactful across key service lines.

As a BI Developer, you will contribute to platform development, reporting enhancements, and technical onboarding support. You'll work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to define reporting strategies, develop models, and troubleshoot issues with efficiency and precision.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support and troubleshoot existing Power BI models, reports, and automated data processes

  • Build and enhance semantic models and dashboards for reporting platforms, including embedded Power BI functionality

  • Collaborate in onboarding new clients—building, testing, and supporting custom reporting tools

  • Participate in tech projects—conducting requirements analysis, model and report design, and change management

  • Document implementations and assist in process development using Python, Power Apps, and Power Automate

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development

  • Expertise in Power Query, semantic modeling, and DAX

  • Ability to write and understand Python and T-SQL scripts

  • Proven track record in requirements gathering and solution documentation

  • Familiarity with source control tools like Git and CI/CD practices

  • Comfortable using DevOps to manage progress and collaboration

  • Strong communication skills, including technical documentation

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, and ALM Toolkit

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric architecture and tools

  • Exposure to Tableau or other BI reporting platforms

  • Background in Power BI portal embedding

  • Semantic model optimization and performance tuning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Mathematics
