Our partner is a well-known brand in the aviation industry. The team in Budapest – which was founded 3 years ago - is rapidly growing, hence we are seeking our next colleagues to join as technically skilled Business Analyst.

The IT Business Analyst (BA) focuses on the interpretation of business rules and requirements for technical systems. He/she supports the product team in achieving the maximum value potential of the product by ensuring the product is built according to the right requirements, driving user adoption and realizing business process change.

The BA will work closely with business users internally, who are using the product, to identify their needs and interpret those to the development team. Depending on the service level agreements (SLA) the Business Analyst can be asked to participate in consignation duties occassionally, in case
24/7 support
is agreed.

Your everyday tasks will be the following:

  • Act as the link between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Manage and optimize system configurations, including BDE and .ini files.
  • Support incident and release management processes, including on-call duties.
  • Contribute to cloud migration activities, preparation, and requirement gathering.
  • Optimize and refactor code where necessary to ensure system performance.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contribute to front-end (GUI) configuration.
  • Collaborate effectively across remote teams and manage diverse stakeholder groups.

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

  • Advanced English
    language skills (we are working in an international team)
  • Proven experience as a tech-focused Business Analyst or System Engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of BDE, .ini-file configuration, and related system setup
    .
  • Proficiency in Perl; Python experience is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with incident and release management processes.
  • Understanding of cloud environments and migration preparation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience working in an international and online/remote environment.
