Position Overview
The dealership group is seeking an experienced and results-driven
Head of Sales
to lead and optimise the sales performance across multiple brands and sites.
This role is responsible for driving new and used vehicle sales, managing the sales team, ensuring process excellence, and supporting the Managing Director in delivering commercial growth.
The ideal candidate is an automotive sales leader with strong operational discipline, coaching ability, and a proven track record of achieving volume, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the new and used car sales teams across all dealership sites
- Establish clear sales targets (volume, margin, upsell, F&I, trade-in) and track daily/weekly KPIs
- Drive consistent execution of the group's sales processes, customer journey, and CRM standards
- Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of volumes, stock needs, trade-ins, and market trends
- Oversee showroom operations, test drives, digital inquiries, and lead management
- Coordinate with the Marketing team on campaigns, promotions, and showroom events
- Ensure all customer interactions meet the brand's quality, compliance, and experience standards
- Maintain disciplined management of demo cars, stock rotation, ageing inventory, and pricing strategy
- Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate Sales Consultants, Team Leaders, and Used Car Buyers
- Implement ongoing performance improvement plans and competency development
- Create a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer service, and teamwork
- Work closely with Aftersales, Finance & Insurance, and Administration teams to ensure seamless operations
- Coordinate with OEM brand representatives on volume planning, ordering, incentives, and sales programmes
- Support the Managing Director with business planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure premium customer experience across all touchpoints, both online and in the showroom
- Achieve top-level customer satisfaction (CSI) and repeat business performance
- Resolve escalated customer issues professionally and efficiently
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in automotive retail sales
- Proven track record as
Sales Manager / Head of Sales / Brand Manager
at a dealer or OEM - Strong understanding of new and used car operations, trade-in processes, and F&I
- Experience managing multi-brand or medium-to-large sales teams
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and forecasting abilities
- Excellent communication skills in
Hungarian
and confident
English - Familiarity with OEM systems, dealership DMS/CRM, and digital sales tools
- High integrity, resilience, and a proactive, hands-on leadership style
