construction and building materials sector
. With a strong presence across Europe and beyond, the company provides 
nylon plugs, chemical anchors, concrete screws, insulation fixings, façade anchors
, and related professional tools used by builders, contractors, and industrial installers.

To further develop its market presence and strengthen its subsidiary in Hungary, the company is seeking an experienced 
Managing Director
 with solid industry knowledge and a proven record of leading sales and operations in the construction materials sector.

Position Summary

The 
Managing Director
 will be responsible for leading the Hungarian subsidiary, ensuring strategic growth, operational excellence, and close engagement with key stakeholders across the construction industry. The role requires a strong commercial orientation, leadership ability, and deep familiarity with the building and fixings materials ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the 
    business strategy
     for Hungary in line with group objectives.
  • Lead 
    sales, marketing, and operations
     to expand market share and profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with 
    construction companies, distributors, and builders' merchants
    .
  • Identify and pursue 
    new business opportunities
     within professional and industrial installation markets.
  • Manage 
    P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
    .
  • Develop, coach, and lead a 
    motivated local team
     with a focus on customer satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards in 
    safety, quality, and ethical business practices
    .

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 
    8–10 years' leadership or senior commercial experience
     in 
    construction materials, fixings, or anchoring systems
    .
  • Strong background in 
    distribution networks, contractor engagement, and B2B sales
    .
  • Proven track record in 
    business development and operational management
    .
  • Fluent English
     and 
    native or full professional Hungarian
     required.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with 
    strategic thinking and hands-on leadership
    .
  • Relevant degree in 
    Engineering, Construction Management, or Business
     preferred.
