Pharma Data Analyst

EGIS Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Pharma Data Analyst to join its Business-to-Business team in Budapest. The ideal candidate has a strong background in forecasting, business planning and a self-driven mindset with a passion for driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive market analysis and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the pharmaceutical industry using relevant databases, reports and outcomes of desk research
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for new product developments and enhancements
  • Prepare long term forecasts for new development projects and keep track records
  • Prepare input data for creating financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes
  • Provide business analysis of new development projects with a strategic approach, management of proposed projects, preparation of decision-making materials and their presentation to the management
  • Monitoring the status of ongoing developments and regular review of business potential
  • Representing B2B organisation as primary contact point on regular idea generation and evaluation meetings
  • On ad hoc basis, acting as CRM administrator / PPOC and help in the implementation on BI/CI enduser infrastructure

The ideal candidate has:

  • A degree in a relevant field, preferably in Economics
  • At least 5 years demonstrated track record in business planning, modeling, forecasting, building business cases and managing end-to-end approach in planning and evaluation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data, grab the core and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, self-motivated and self-driven attitude
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in Hungarian and English
  • Solid MS Excel knowledge
  • Appetite and ability to learn and self-develop

Advantage if you have any of the followings:

  • Experience in multinational environment
  • Experience in pharmaceutical business, knowledge of pharmaceutical databases and pharma product lifecycle
  • Salesforce admin / enduser experience
  • Experience in dashboarding
  • SQL experience
  • MS Azure Data Factory experience
  • Python experience
