Location: Central Eastern Europe (CEE)

The Digital Factory is at the heart of transforming MOL Group's Consumer Services from a traditional fuel retailer to a digitally-driven consumer goods retailer and integrated mobility services provider. Our team, comprising 70+ talented professionals, is dedicated to building a data-driven business through advanced analytics and a new digital loyalty rewards program, primarily on the Salesforce platform. Serving approximately 10 million customers through 2,400 service stations across 10 countries, we leverage cutting-edge technologies on a regional scale.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an Agile Project Manager who excels in both business and software development environments. This role is crucial for implementing Agile practices, leading project management efforts, and driving our team towards efficient project delivery. Reporting directly to the Group Digital Engineering Manager and technically led by the Program Manager, you will manage squads within the Digital Factory, facilitating smooth project execution and fostering an Agile mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in defining the "HOW" in response to the "WHAT" from the Product Owner.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Refinement, Demos, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach the team on Agile practices to enhance processes and ensure adherence to the framework.
  • Assist in user story estimation and oversee sprint planning for realistic planning and time management.
  • Manage project resources, identify capacity constraints, and develop strategies to address challenges.
  • Track and report on progress and budget, ensuring the team meets their commitments.
  • Monitor blockers, escalate business-related impediments to the Product Owner, and address technology-related issues.
  • Maintain the health of the backlog and story quality, raising issues to the Product Owner.
  • Communicate project expectations and status updates effectively to stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management tools like JIRA (w/ BigPicture) to monitor milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification, Relevant PM certification (Prince 2 preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years as a Scrum Master/IT Project Manager in an IT or software development setting.
    • Proven ability to lead and coach teams in Agile practices.
    • Skilled in risk management, business risk analysis, and making complex business/risk trade-off decisions.
    • Experience in a multivendor environment and remote vendor management.
    • Extensive knowledge of Agile & DevOps approaches, with a track record in implementation and adoption.
    • Local, near- and offshore team-management experience.
    • Contract management and negotiation experience.
    • Experience in tailoring communications for a wide range of stakeholders.
    • Participation in transition/transformation programs in the IT sector is an advantage.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent analytical, operational planning, and execution skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks.
    • Strong stakeholder and cross-functional team management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Professional usage of Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA (+Big Picture), Confluence, and MS Project.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and one of the Central Eastern European languages.
