Job Description

We are seeking an Energy Cost Forecasting Intern to support our team in preparing and validating standardized energy cost forecast reports for our clients. The successful candidate will assist in resolving system-generated forecasts, gain and maintain up-to-date knowledge on various European energy markets, and provide additional context to forecasted figures based on specific market knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation and validation of standardized energy cost forecast reports for clients.
  • Assist in resolving system-generated forecasts and make corrections or comments if necessary.
  • Gain and maintain up-to-date knowledge on various European energy markets.
  • Provide additional context to forecasted figures based on specific market knowledge.
  • Support the team with ad-hoc tasks related to delivering service to our clients.
  • Participate in projects for automation of processes.
Requirements
  • Ongoing university studies in Hungary, in business administration, data management, or related field in management/economics.
  • Possible commitment for at least 1 year with minimum 1-year active student status.
  • Advanced English and Hungarian knowledge (fluent speaking and writing), as you will be part of an international team.
  • You have advanced digital skills, confidence, and experience with MS Office with strong focus on Excel skills.
  • You have an analytical and critical mindset, with high interest in energy market related topics.
  • You have open, proactive attitude and you love being challenged.
  • For this position it is essential to have attention to details.
  • It is a plus, if you have already gained some work experience in this field.
