Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee laboratory operations, prioritizing resources, scheduling tasks, and ensuring compliance with standard procedures.
  • Method Development: Develop, validate, and verify test methods, conducting physical and chemical sample analyses according to established protocols.
  • Project Execution: Execute project tasks, verifying investigation reports for professional content and adherence to industry standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain and develop organizational regulations to ensure efficient operations and meet customer expectations.
  • Training and Development: Train lab technicians on equipment use, mentor, and instruct lab staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance service levels, consumer satisfaction, and meet future demands.
  • Customer Support: Investigate customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure safe and HSE-compliant operation of equipment, and that staff follows industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Chemical engineering, chemistry, or equivalent, with analytical chemistry specialization being an asset.
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: General knowledge of Polyol, Polyurethane foam, advanced English and Hungarian language knowledge, and Microsoft Office user-level skills.
  • International Experience: International experience is an asset.
  • Driving License: Category B driving license.
