About the Role:

The World Health Organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Collaboration Technology Specialist. This key position will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of collaboration tools and technologies to support the organization's global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain governance policies for collaboration tools, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and data protection regulations.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Yammer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and optimize collaboration tools to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Ensure proper configuration, functioning, availability, and security of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Monitor usage and performance of collaboration tools, and provide technical expertise to drive user adoption.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide third-level support for user requests, incident, and problem management.
  • Stay current on the latest technologies and recommend enhancements and extensions to support the organization's ICT infrastructure.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • First university degree in computer science, engineering, information management, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in deploying and supporting Microsoft 365 platform for collaboration and applications, with a minimum of 2 years of international exposure.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale environments with global user bases, working with teams across geographic and cultural boundaries.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Yammer.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex and changing environment, with adaptability and flexibility.
  • Able to provide technical expertise to ICT projects and teams, with a strong understanding of collaboration services.

Language Skills:

  • Essential: Expert knowledge of English.
  • Desirable: Intermediate knowledge of French.
