Job Overview

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we're driven by a singular mission: enabling our customers to make the world a better place. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting our clients throughout the lifecycle, from administrative to order fulfillment phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team on assignments and projects.
  • Become proficient in the Customer Service functions of our ERP system.
  • Maintain accurate customer data and assess individual customer requirements.
  • Direct activities to appropriate departments and maintain daily customer service reports.
  • Handle fax/written/web orders, relay price and availability, and respond to customer enquiries by telephone.
  • Deal with customer complaints and tenders efficiently and expertly, adhering to service level agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and departmental training guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proficient Microsoft Office user.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, Hungarian, and Slovak languages.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems, multitask under deadlines, and work independently.
  • Self-motivation, passion, and a positive demeanor, with excellent teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in the workplace.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize optimally.
  • Judgment, tact, and subtlety in dealing with internal and external customers.
